Skin testing, asthma function testing, immunotherapy, and biologics — built into a long-term care plan, not a single appointment.
Allergy testing
Personalized skin-prick testing for environmental and food allergens, intradermal testing when needed, and targeted blood-panel work (specific IgE) for patients who can't skin-test. Results read same-visit.
Asthma evaluation
Spirometry and lung-function testing, with exercise challenge as indicated. We build a written asthma action plan, not a one-size-fits-all inhaler.
Immunotherapy
Subcutaneous (allergy shots) and sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) for environmental allergies based on your personal sensitivities. Allergy shots are usually done initially once a week and then maintenance once monthly for most patients. SLIT is done at home using the extracts and protocols provided by our office.
Biologics for severe disease
Biologics (monoclonal antibodies) for severe disease, like Xolair, Dupixent, Nucala, and others, when appropriate.
Food allergy
Diagnosis, oral food challenge for unclear cases, and anaphylaxis action plans.
Chronic urticaria & angioedema
Workup for chronic hives, idiopathic angioedema, and hereditary angioedema (HAE). Biologic and on-demand therapy as appropriate.
Drug & venom allergy
Testing for Penicillin allergy and stinging-insect (hymenoptera) venom allergy. Penicillin testing and oral challenge often clears patients to receive previously avoided antibiotics. Venom testing clarifies what the actual problem is and creates an anaphylaxis action plan for stinging insects, if needed.
