  • Increased neck size ( > 17 inches in a male; > 16 inches in a female)
  • Falling asleep driving or at red lights
  • Unrefreshing sleep, morning headaches
  • Irritability, memory loss, personality change
  • Nocturia, decreased libido
  • Automobile or work relate accidents
  • Systemic hypertension

Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS)

Please use this scale for Dozing; 0=Never, 1= Slight Chance, 2= Mod. Chance, 3=High Chance

  • ESS- measures subjective sleepiness; should be performed in office
