Janette McDougall MSN, APRN

Janette was born in the Philippines. At age four, she was adopted by a family from Nevada. After grade school she chose to continue her education and attended the accredited, Orvis School of Nursing; at the University of Nevada. In 2011, she completed her undergraduate degree as a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and began her career in an acute care setting. She tended to hospitalized patients of all ages but found the operating room and the world of trauma interesting. With dedication, she quickly progressed in this field and was offered additional responsibility within a leadership position. She thrived in an active level II trauma Operating Room for seven years.
She wanted to continue to challenge herself to do more. Janette furthered her education and training by earning her Master of Science in Nursing, at Graceland University. She is a board certified Nurse Practitioner, through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of Nevada Advanced Practice Nursing Association, and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Janette has a personal interest in areas related to respiratory and allergies. At an early age, her daughter was diagnosed with severe asthma, chronic eczema, and persistent environmental allergies. Janette struggled as a young mother to relieve her daughter’s discomfort. This gave her the drive to specialize in the fascinating world of Allergy and Asthma.
