Dr. Lokshin graduated at the top of his class from medical school in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1980. He completed his first internship in St. Petersburg, and later on continued his post- graduate training in pediatrics and pathology at Loma Linda University Center in California.
He completed his combined sub- specialty training in General Allergy/ Immunology and Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of Iowa. He went on to study and teach treatment of Allergies and Asthma, as Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
In 1993, Dr. Lokshin moved to Connecticut where he was in private practice and Clinical Assistant Professor at Yale School of Medicine. In 1995, he joined Allergy and Asthma Associates. He has been treating patients of all ages with allergies, asthma and other related conditions. In addition, he is a Clinical Professor, teaching medical students and residents at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
Dr. Lokshin’s research is published in New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Annals of Allergy, and other publications. He has given multiple presentations and lectures for the community and other physicians in the areas of asthma and allergies.
He is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, American Medical Association, and Nevada State Medical Association. He just joined The National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He was named in the 2002/ 2003 America’s Registry of Outstanding Professionals. He received the 2010 Patient’s Choice Award and was named to the America’s Top Phyiscian’s list in 2011. He was also named America’s Best Physicians in 2015 & 2016.
Dr. Lokshin enjoys treating patients of all ages for allergies, chronic cough, asthma, and related conditions. He is currently accepting new patients.
